Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH)
During the early stages, the embryo comprises an outer shell, which is often referred to as Zona pellucida. During the stages of embryo development, say five to six days, the embryo hatches out of the Zona pellucida inorder to implant into the lining of the uterus which leads to pregnancy.
The Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH) is one of the methods which is a procedure to artificially help the embryo to hatch.
